Internal Family Systems A compassionate, evidence-based way of working with the different parts of yourself. Internal Family Systems (IFS) sees the mind as made up of different “parts” — and a core Self that can lead with calm and compassion. Rather than fighting your patterns, IFS helps you turn toward them with curiosity. As wounded and protective parts feel understood, they can relax and heal — and you move through life with more clarity, steadiness, and self-compassion. It’s an evidence-based approach many Refuge practitioners weave through their work.
